Dal 17 al 24 settembre arriverà al cinema come evento speciale per Nexo Studios il concerto di DAVID GILMOUR “LIVE AL CIRCO MASSIMO. ROMA”, seguito il 17 ottobre dalla pubblicazione dell’album live “THE LUCK AND STRANGE CONCERTS” e dall’uscita in DVD e Blu-Ray del film “LIVE AT THE CIRCUS MAXIMUS”, che catturano magnificamente la magia del Luck and Strange Tour 2024.
“Luck And Strange”, quinto album solista di Gilmour, ha raggiunto il #1 nel Regno Unito, in Germania (per la prima volta al #1), Polonia, Paesi Bassi, Repubblica Ceca, Svizzera, Portogallo e Austria. Ha conquistato il #2 in Francia, Italia e Belgio, è entrato nella Top 5 in Spagna, Giappone, Norvegia, Danimarca e Ungheria, e nella Top 10 negli Stati Uniti, Australia, Finlandia, Svezia, Irlanda e Nuova Zelanda.
I concerti sono iniziati con due date di riscaldamento sold out al Brighton Centre, per poi spostarsi al Circo Massimo di Roma per sei serate tutte esaurite, seguite da altrettante al Royal Albert Hall di Londra, prima di attraversare l’Atlantico per gli show sold out all’Intuit Dome e all’Hollywood Bowl di Los Angeles, concludendo con cinque serate sold out al Madison Square Garden di New York.
Il film “Live al Circo Massimo. Roma”, distribuito a livello internazionale da Sony Music Vision e Trafalgar Releasing, sarà proiettato nei cinema e negli IMAX di tutto il mondo. In Italia sarà nelle sale come evento speciale dal 17 al 24 settembre per Nexo Studios.
Il film fa rivivere il ritorno di Gilmour nello storico Circo Massimo all’inizio del Luck and Strange Tour, il suo primo in quasi un decennio. Il collaboratore di lunga data Gavin Elder ha filmato questo spettacolo sublime con lo sfondo mozzafiato delle rovine romane.

L’evento al cinema è distribuito in esclusiva per l’Italia da Nexo Studios con Virgin Radio come Radio Ufficiale e in collaborazione con MYmovies e D’Alessandro e Galli.
“LIVE AT THE CIRCUS MAXIMUS”
L’edizione super deluxe dell’album, in esclusiva sullo store ufficiale di Gilmour, include tutti i formati e un libro cartonato di 120 pagine, con fotografie di Polly Samson scattate durante il tour, oltre a 2 cartoline, gli adesivi del gatto nero e della figura a braccia aperte di “Luck and Strange”, la scaletta dei concerti, un poster a colori su due lati (930 mm x 620 mm), un libretto di 8 pagine con i crediti.
Sempre il 17 ottobre uscirà anche il cofanetto con 2 Blu-Ray e 3 DVD “Live At The Circus Maximus”, con materiale inedito e tutto il concerto “The Luck And Strange Concerts” in 5.1 e Atmos (solo su Blu-Ray).

L’audio dell’album “The Luck And Strange Concerts” e del film-concerto è stato coprodotto da David Gilmour e Charlie Andrew, già coproduttore dell’ultimo disco di inediti “Luck and Strange”.
Per i fan fortunati che hanno vissuto questi concerti irripetibili, queste nuove uscite sono il ricordo indelebile del sound di Gilmour, profondo e impeccabile, e della sua straordinaria band.
