AC/DC: la band ha annunciato la nuova line-up per il concerto al Power Trip Festival a Indio (California)

Durante i tre giorni del Power Trip Festival (a Indio in California) la band suonerà accanto ai Metallica, Guns N'Roses, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest e Tool il 6,7 e 8 ottobre.

Allo show si unirà il bassista della band Cliff Williams mentre il batterista Phil Rudd sarà sostituito da Matt Laug.
Rudd era stato sostituito nel 2014, tornando poi nel 2020 per l’album “Power Up”. Williams nel frattempo si era ritirato dopo il tour mondiale Rock or Bust.

Brian Johnson tornerà alla voce dopo essere stato sostituito, per un breve periodo, da Axl Rose dei Guns N' Roses.

La band ha postato un audio durante le prove su Twitter scrivendo: “PWR UP per il Power Trip! Ascoltate le prove dei ragazzi che si caricano con Cliff Williams, che tornerà a suonare per il festival e Matt Laug alla batteria.”

La line-up per il Power Trip sembra quindi quella di Johnson alla voce, Williams al basso e Angus e Stevie Young alla chitarra.
