Il nuovo album solista di Mark Morton, chitarrista dei Lamb of God, conterrà anche un inedito scritto e cantato da Chester Bennington, il frontman dei Linkin Park morto suicida. È una delle ultime canzoni a cui Bennington ha lavorato e il testo purtroppo contiene tracce del dolore che stava vivendo e che lo avrebbe spinto a togliersi la vita nella sua casa di Los Angeles pochi mesi dopo.

«Wasting away our self inflicted slow decay / What should have been, what never was / Became the end for both of us», canta Bennington: «Sprecando la nostra decadenza auto inflitta / Quello che sarebbe dovuto essere, quello che non è mai stato / è diventato la fine per tutti noi». La canzone si intitola Cross Off (mentre il titolo del disco è Anesthetic), sarà disponibile a partire dall'8 gennaio. Il brano, secondo quanto scritto da LPLive, è molto pesante anche dal punto di vista sonoro: chitarre aggressive, parti gridate e parti rappate.
