Courtney Love sul palco a sorpresa con i Green Day (i Coverups) durante un concerto a Londra. Guarda il video

Inaspettata sorpresa ieri sera per il pubblico presente al The Garage di Highbury, a nord di Londra, durante il primo dei due concerti sold out dei The Coverups, il progetto di cover creato dai membri dei Green Day. 

Durante lo show è salita sul palco a sorpresa Courtney Love che assieme alla band di Billie Joe Armstrong ha cantato, in maniera molto divertita, diversi brani tra cui He's a Whore dei Cheap Trick, Even the Losers di Tom Petty per poi tornare sul palco in chiusura dello show per eseguire una potente versione di Surrender, sempre dei Cheap Trick.

La band ha suonato complessivamente una scaletta composta da 24 canzoni, iniziando lo show con una cover di A Million Miles Away dei Plimsouls, oltre a brani di The Clash, Ramones, The Damned e chiudendo il concerto con una versione di Where Eagles Dare dei Misfits.
